Veterinary Assistant – Surgery

Andy is originally from Guadalajara, Mexico and was encouraged to submit her CV to OVRA after one of our veterinarians met her while she was doing an externship at Wildlife Safari. Andy first realized her passion for animal care when she was just three years old, and has studied veterinary medicine at the University of Guadalajara and wildlife medicine at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Her pets include two dogs: Lia, whose hobbies include grouping her toys together, and Delilah, who enjoys howling along with the family and has staked a firm claim on her corner of the couch—to the point where she will merely sit on whoever else happens to be there. In her free time, Andy likes to relax at home with her family and enjoys reading, drawing, watching movies, and a good cup of coffee.
