Natalie is originally from Santa Cruz, California, and spent two years in the Mendocino hills as a shepherd and dairy worker before shifting her focus to veterinary medicine. She recently moved to the Willamette Valley with her husband.

She shares her home with Mufasa, an ironically timid orange cat, and Flip Flop, a rabbit trained to perform tricks like stacking cups in exchange for banana chips.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys farming, gardening, fishing with her husband, and continuing her lifelong passion for art—she was once a professional potter and still finds time to create.
