Dr. Brea Sandness Rose practices orthopedic, neuro and soft tissue surgery. Her clinical interests include both soft tissue and orthopedic traumatology such as fracture repairs, wounds and various abdominal conditions.

Dr. Sandness was born and raised in Bismarck, ND. She attended the University of North Dakota, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Following completion of her undergraduate degree, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University in 2015. After veterinary school, she completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at WestVet Animal Emergency & Specialty Center in Boise, ID. She then pursued additional surgical specialty training at MissionVet Specialty & Emergency, Sierra Veterinary Specialist and Emergency, and at Michigan State University’s Veterinary Medical Center. Dr. Sandness completed a formal residency training program in Small Animal Surgery at Michigan State University in Lansing, MI, where she played an active role in teaching, research, and clinical surgery, before returning to her alma mater at Oregon State University.

In addition to her passion for her clients and patients, she is passionate about spending time with her five fur babies and husband Tyler Rose. In her free time, she enjoys getting together with friends and family, traveling, spending time outdoors, and trying new foods and fun activities.
