Tayah is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant at OVRA, bringing her passion for animal behavior and veterinary medicine to the forefront of her role. Originally from Salem, Oregon, Tayah moved to pursue a nursing career in 2022. Her journey in animal care began at Greenhill Humane Society, where she discovered a deep interest in working with bite quarantine dogs and euthanasia candidates. She later honed her skills at a general practice in Cresswell.
Tayah is committed to advancing her expertise in veterinary medicine and plans to complete her Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) schooling online. Her love for animals is evident in her companionship with her four pets: June Bug, a resilient one-eyed cat; Remy, a dog with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI); Quincy, an older dog she rescued with alopecia; and Tito, her playful canine with a distinctive mohawk.
Outside of work, Tayah enjoys exploring trails and parks with her dogs, experimenting with new vegetarian restaurants, and engaging in puzzles and coloring. Her compassionate nature and dedication to animal care are valuable assets to OVRA and its clients.
